Cleaning vs. Watching TV

Today is my day off work. Actually its my second day of work. I work 3 days a week of 12 hours. So I have 4 days off work each week! Fantastic! The down side is that I work two weekends each month. I hate working weekends because that's the time me and my boyfriend have most time with eachother. So the job is a mix of good and bad. I guess that's okay. And anyway I will stop working after the summer when i start my study so I guess I can live with it.

I started my day with walking the dog, going to my second job which doesn't take long and then I thought I would clean the apartment up before the weekend. It would make my boyfriend happy and it would make the time we have together in the weekend more relaxed if I do it now.

But I don't know if its just me who is lazy. But I came home. Started the washing machine. Made some breakfast and coffee and sat down by the TV. There is the big annual debate in the Danish Parliament. I watch it. It's fun watching my favorite-hate-politicians being set in place. But still. I should get off the sofa and start the cleaning. Right now the debate is on brake. But I just checked my emails and my blog. And found a Swedish program about fishing in the TV. I don't even like to fish. But I will clean up later. Before my boyfriend come home i promise!

Tonight we will have some friends over. They live just across the street from us and is our really good friends. It's funny. After they moved so close to us we see each other less than we did before. Why is that? We often go for a walk together but we don't come along just to watch TV together or to get a cup of coffee anymore. We did that a lot before. I guess it's because it's so easy just to walk over the street that you never plan it. And when you never plan it you make other plans and then you don't get around it. I have to plan to visit them more often!

Now the debate is back on so I have to go.

I'm 24 years old and I live with my boyfriend and a nice little dog. We live in an apartment in a medium sized city in the Rotten State of Denmark (Or just Denmark). The fact that we are gay is not a problem to any of us. We are both out of the closet and our friends, family and everybody we know don't think that thats so different anyway.

Right now I work as a helper for a disabled guy. It's a hard but fun job! I have been for a year now. Last summer i dropped out of my study of medicine. After two years of hard work it just didn't work for me. It was hard to make the choice of stopping my "Dream Study" but there wasn't any point in keeping on using my energy on something that just wouldn't succeed. So I'm going to start studying again this summer. I think I have found something just as good. I want to study International Business, Language and Culture. This makes me able to get a wide range of international jobs. I have a dream about working in a international NGO like Amnesty International or International Red Cross. Maybe some day it will come true.
